Recipe....
Ingredients....
- Okra 20 cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces
- Oil 2-3 tablespoons
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tspoon
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tspoon
- Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tspoon
- Dry whole red chillys 5-6
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
- Chilly powder 1/4 tspoon
- Crushed pepper 1/4 tspoon
- Yogurt 3/4 cup beaten
- Salt to taste
Procedure...
- Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
- Once oil becomes hot add,mustard seeds
- After it crackles add cumin seeds ,fenugreek seeds and dry whole red chillys
- Saute it and add okra pieces
- Mix well and cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes on low to medium flame stirring occasionally until okra gets cooked and roasted
- Now add dry ground spices and salt to taste
- Saute for another 1-2 minutes and off the flame
- Now in a bowl take yogurt, beat it well and add the prepared okra
- Mix well ,check for seasonings and garnish with cilantro....
