spinach pakoras...












Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Spinach leaves 10-15
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Besan/gram flour 1 cup
  • Corn starch 2 tablespoons
  • Red Chilly powder 1tspoon
  • Crushed pepper 1 tspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1 tspoon
  • Salt to taste
Procedure..
  • Initially wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and keep aside

  • Take a bowl and add last 6 ingredients into it

  • Mix well and add enough water to make a thick batter


  • Heat up a pan on medium flame and add sufficient oil for frying into it
  • Once the oil gets moderately hot, dip each leaf into the batter and slowly place it into the oil

  • Flip and fry on both sides until the pakoras turn golden brown
  • Serve them hot with sauce or chutney
