Ingredients...
- Spinach leaves 10-15
- Oil for deep frying
- Besan/gram flour 1 cup
- Corn starch 2 tablespoons
- Red Chilly powder 1tspoon
- Crushed pepper 1 tspoon
- Cumin seeds 1 tspoon
- Salt to taste
Procedure..
- Initially wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and keep aside
- Take a bowl and add last 6 ingredients into it
- Mix well and add enough water to make a thick batter
- Heat up a pan on medium flame and add sufficient oil for frying into it
- Once the oil gets moderately hot, dip each leaf into the batter and slowly place it into the oil
- Flip and fry on both sides until the pakoras turn golden brown
- Serve them hot with sauce or chutney
