Pappadam thoran!!!


Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Pappadam 5-6
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/8 tspoon
  • Halved green chillies 1-2 
  • Sliced shallots 6-7
  • Dried red chillies 1-2
  • Curry leaves 2 sprigs
  • Grated coconut 3/4 cup
  • Red chilly powder 1/4 tspoon
  • Turmeric powder a pinch
  • Salt to taste
Procedure...
  • Initially heat up oil in a sause pan and fry all papads
  • Heat up another pan and add 2-3 tablespoons of oil
  • Once it's hot crackle mustard seeds and cumin seeds
  • Add in green chillies,shallots,curry leaves, dry red chillies and saute well
  • Finally add grated coconut,red chilly powder,turmeric powder ,salt to taste and fry well for 4-5 minutes
  • At this stage scramble the fried papads into the pan and saute for 5-6 minutes on low flame....
Now delicious papadam tthoran is ready to be served with rice. .!!!!
