hyderabadi chicken kurma...










Recipe...

Ingredients....

  • Chicken 500 GMs
  • Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Chopped cilantro 3-4 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Cashew 25-30 gms soaked in water for at least 1 hour 
  • Green chilly 5-6
  • Garlic cloves 5-6
  • Black pepper corns 7-8
  • Yoghurt 3/4 cup
Procedure...
  • Initially take the clean chicken pieces in a pan
  • add some water just enough to cook the chicken pieces and salt to taste
  • Now cover the pan and heat on low to medium flame until the chicken becomes almost cooked 
  • Meanwhile in a grinder add the last 5 ingredients mentioned above and grind it into a smooth paste
  • Heat another pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • Now add the former paste and saute till the raw smell goes 
  • Now add the cooked chicken pieces along with its stock
  • cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes on low flame so that chicken absorbs all the flavor from the gravy..
  • Finally add some chopped cilantro and ur dish is ready to be served...
