Ingredients...
- Bread slices 3(use wheat bread for making the recipe more healthy)
- Thick yogurt 3 tspoons
- Chopped onions 1 small
- Chopped green chilly 1
- Chopped cilantro 2 -3 tspoons
- Red chilly powder a pinch
- Oil for tadka
- Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedure...
- Initially in a bowl add bread broken into small pieces with hand
- Heat up a pan and add oil into it
- Once oil becomes hot add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle
- Add this tadka into bread pieces
- Add in all the other ingredients and mix well..if u feel that ur bread s very dry add some more thick yogurt...the consistency of the mix should be such that u can shape idlis from it...
- Oil ur hands,take little bit of mix at a time and shape into idlis...
- It goes awesome with tomaio ketchup..
