instant bread idli


Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Bread slices 3(use wheat bread for making the recipe more healthy)
  • Thick yogurt 3 tspoons
  • Chopped onions 1 small
  • Chopped green chilly 1
  • Chopped cilantro 2 -3 tspoons
  • Red chilly powder a pinch
  • Oil for tadka
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedure...
  • Initially in a bowl add bread broken into small pieces with hand
  • Heat up a pan and add oil into it
  • Once oil becomes hot add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle



  • Add this tadka into bread pieces
  • Add in all the other ingredients and mix well..if u feel that ur bread s very dry add some more thick yogurt...the consistency of the mix should be such that u can shape idlis from it...




  • Oil ur hands,take little bit of mix at a time and shape into idlis...
  • It goes awesome with tomaio ketchup..
