- Chicken 750 gms
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Finely chopped Onions 2
- Green chillys 3 slit into 2
- Chopped cilantro 2 tablespoons
For marination
- Yogurt 2 cups(500gms)
- Green cardamom 12-15
- Pepper corns 12-15
- Cloves 7-8
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Procedure..
- Initially add in cardamoms,pepper corns and cloves into a blender and blend into a coarse powder
- Add this masala powder along with chicken other ingredients mentioned under "for marination" into a bowl
- Mix well and let it marinate for at least 25-30 minutes
- Now heat up a deep pan on medium flame and add butter into it
- Add in onions and green chillys before butter burns and saute until the onions turns translucent
- Now add in the marinated chicken And cilantro
- Mix well ,cover the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on low to medium flame until the chicken is completely cooked
- At this stage open the lid and continue cooking until the gravy dries up if u want a dried version, otherwise switch off the flame and serve hot with rotis,parathas or rice!!!!!!
