dahiwala chicken/dahi murgh

Recipe..
Ingredients..

  • Chicken 750 gms
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Finely chopped Onions 2 
  • Green chillys 3 slit into 2
  • Chopped cilantro 2 tablespoons
For marination
  • Yogurt 2 cups(500gms)
  • Green cardamom 12-15
  • Pepper corns 12-15
  • Cloves 7-8
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
Procedure..
  • Initially add in cardamoms,pepper corns and cloves into a blender and blend into a coarse powder
  • Add this masala powder along with chicken other ingredients mentioned under "for marination" into a bowl
  • Mix well and let it marinate for at least 25-30 minutes
  • Now heat up a deep pan on medium flame and add butter into it
  • Add in onions and green chillys before butter burns and saute until the onions turns translucent
  • Now add in the marinated chicken And cilantro
  • Mix well ,cover the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on low to medium flame until the chicken is completely cooked
  • At this stage open the lid and continue cooking until the gravy dries up if u want a dried version, otherwise switch off the flame and serve hot with rotis,parathas or rice!!!!!!
