Gobi paratha....

Recipe..
Ingredients...
For dough

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Oil 2-3 tablespoons
  • Water for kneading
  • Salt to taste
For filling
  • Grated cauliflower 3/4 cup
  • Chopped green chilly 1
  • Red chilly powder a pinch
  • Garam masala a pinch
  • Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tspoon
  • Salt to taste
Procedure...
  • Initially take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients mentioned below "for filling"

  • Mix up everything together and keep it aside for at least 30 minutes

  • Meanwhile in another mixing bowl add the ingredients mentioned under "for dough" and knead into smooth dough
  • Let it rest for at least 20-25 minutes
  • After that knead the dough again and make balls from it for preparing parathas
  • At this time,take the bowl with the filling and squeeze the cauliflower mix as tightly as u can with ur hands, so that it leaves out all its moisture and turns almost dry
  • Now roll the dough ball into small circle,place 1-2 tspoons of filling and fold it back into a dough ball
  • Dust it with wheat flour and roll it again into thin parathas by placing the closed part facing downwards

  • Repeat the same with all the dough balls
  • Now heat up a pan on medium flame and place paratha over it,flip it and cook until both sides turn golden brown

  • Apply ghee over the parathas while cooking 
  • Serve them hot with curry and raita....
