- Chicken 500 gms cut into medium sized pieces
- Fresh cream 3/4 cup
For gravy
- Oil 3 tablespoons
- Red chilly powder 1 tspoon
- Coriander powder 2 tspoons
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
- Garam masala 1/2 tspoon
- Cumin powder 1/2 tspoon
- Sliced green chilly 2
- Sliced ginger 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
For masala paste
- Chopped spinach 1 bunch
- Chopped cilantro 1 1/2 cups
- Chopped mint 1 cup
- Green chilly 1
- Yogurt 3/4 -1 cup
- Salt to taste
Procedure..
- Initially add all the ingredients mentioned below masala paste into a blender and blend it into smooth paste
- Now into a deep nonstick pan add in chicken pieces along with above masala paste
- Now add rest of the ingredients mentioned below "for gravy" into the pan
- Mix them all together and cover the lid
- Now heat up the pan and cook on medium flame for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is nicely cooked
- At this stage add in fresh cream and miw well,check for the seasoning and switch of the flame
- Serve hot with roti /parathas/naan...goes good with rice too
