hariyali murgh..

Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Chicken 500 gms cut into medium sized pieces
  • Fresh cream 3/4 cup
For gravy 
  • Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Red chilly powder 1 tspoon
  • Coriander powder 2 tspoons
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
  • Garam masala 1/2 tspoon
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tspoon
  • Sliced green chilly 2
  • Sliced ginger 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
For masala paste
  • Chopped spinach 1 bunch
  • Chopped cilantro 1 1/2 cups
  • Chopped mint 1 cup
  • Green chilly 1
  • Yogurt 3/4 -1 cup
  • Salt to taste
Procedure..
  • Initially add all the ingredients mentioned below masala paste into a blender and blend it into smooth paste
  • Now into a deep nonstick pan add in chicken pieces along with above masala paste
  • Now add rest of the ingredients mentioned below "for gravy" into the pan
  • Mix them all together and cover the lid
  • Now heat up the pan and cook on medium flame for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is nicely cooked
  • At this stage add in fresh cream and miw well,check for the seasoning and switch of the flame
  • Serve hot with roti /parathas/naan...goes good with rice too
