onion pakoras..

Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Onions finely sliced 2
  • Besan/gram flour/chickpea flour 1/2 -3/4 cup
  • Corn starch 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tspoon
  • Chopped green chilies 1
  • Chopped curry leaves 2 sprigs
  • Chopped cilantro 2 sprigs
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
Procedure..
  • Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients into it
  • Mix them well and sprinkle very less water at a time and make a smooth thick mixture (bhajji consistency)
  • Now heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • Once the oil becomes hot add in little quantity from the mix at a time and make small bajjis
  • When one side gets cooked and turns golden brown flip it and cook the other side as well
  • Serve them hot with tomato ketchup and hit tea...!!!
