Ingredients...
- Wheat flour 1 cup
- Whole milk 1/4 -1/2 cup
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Ghee 2 tspoons
- Salt to taste
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling over the top
Procedure...
- Initially add sugar into milk and Stir well to dissolve
- In a mixing bowl take wheat flour and ghee
- Add in the prepared milk and salt to taste
- Knead well into a smooth dough by adjusting the quantity of milk according to the requirement of making dough
- Cover it with cling sheet and Allow the dough to rest for at least 20-25 minutes
- After that knead the dough again and make small small balls from it
- Roll each of them in into small pooris
- Now heat up oil in a deep pan
- When oil becomes moderately hot add in pooris one at a time and cook on both sides until golden brown
- Arrange them in a serving plate and sprinkle some powdered sugar over it for an extra kick
- Serve them hot
