sweet pooris/meethi pooris....












Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Whole milk 1/4 -1/2 cup
  • Sugar 3 tablespoons
  • Ghee 2 tspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling over the top
Procedure...
  • Initially add sugar into milk and Stir well to dissolve
  • In a mixing bowl take wheat flour and ghee
  • Add in the prepared milk and salt to taste

  • Knead well into a smooth dough by adjusting the quantity of milk according to the requirement of making dough
  • Cover it with cling sheet and Allow the dough to rest for at least 20-25 minutes

  • After that knead the dough again and make small small balls from it

  • Roll each of them in into small pooris

  • Now heat up oil in a deep pan 
  • When oil becomes moderately hot add in pooris one at a time and cook on both sides until golden brown

  • Arrange them in a serving plate and sprinkle some powdered sugar over it for an extra kick
  • Serve them hot
