Ingredients...
- Stale /fresh Rotis 2-3;crumbled/coarsely chopped
- Boiled and cubed potato 1 large
- Oil 2 tablespoons
- Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
- Cumin seeds 1/4 tspoon
- Dry whole red chilly 2
- Chopped onion 1
- Chopped green chilly 1-2
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
- Red chilly powder 1/2 tspoon
- Coriander powder 1/2 tspoon
- Lime juice 2 tspoons
- Chopped cilantro 2-3 tablespoons
- Tomato ketchup for garnishing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure...
- Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
- Once oil becomes hot add in mustard seeds
- When they are done with their popping add in cumin seeds and broken red chillys
- Saute for a while and add onion and green chilly,season it with salt and pepper
- Saute for 3-4 minutes until onions turn tender and translucent
- Now add in ground spices
- Saute for 1-2 minutes and add potatoes
- Mix well and add crumbled rotis
- Again mix it up and saute for 4-5 minutes until all the masala get nicely coated over the roti pieces
- Finally add in lime juice and cilantro
- Mix well,switch off the flame,
- Serve it hot with a drizzle of tomato ketchup
