spicy roti crumble...















Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Stale /fresh Rotis 2-3;crumbled/coarsely chopped
  • Boiled and cubed potato 1 large
  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Dry whole red chilly 2
  • Chopped onion 1 
  • Chopped green chilly 1-2
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tspoon
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tspoon
  • Lime juice 2 tspoons
  • Chopped cilantro 2-3 tablespoons
  • Tomato ketchup for garnishing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure...
  • Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • Once oil becomes hot add in mustard seeds

  • When they are done with their popping add in cumin seeds and broken red chillys

  • Saute for a while and add onion and green chilly,season it with salt and pepper

  • Saute for 3-4 minutes until onions turn tender and translucent

  • Now add in ground spices

  • Saute for 1-2 minutes and add potatoes

  • Mix well and add crumbled rotis

  • Again mix it up and saute for 4-5 minutes until all the masala get nicely coated over the roti pieces
  • Finally add in lime juice and cilantro

  • Mix well,switch off the flame,
  • Serve it hot with a drizzle of tomato ketchup
