- Carrots,green beans and potatoes cut into 2 inch long pieces 1 cup
- Besan/chickpea flour 3/4 cup
- Corn starch 2 tablespoons
- Chopped onions 1
- Chopped green chilly 1
- Chopped cilantro 2-3 tablespoons
- Red chilly powder 1/2 tspoon
- Garam masala 1/4 tspoon
- Baking soda 1/4 tspoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Procedure...
- Take a bowl and add in all the ingredients except last one into it
- Mix up everything well,and add enough water(3-5 tablespoons approximately) to get thick consistency required for pakoras
- Heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
- As oil becomes hot,drop in pakora mix little at a time ,and fry both sides until golden brown, to get crispy pakoras
- Serve hot with ketchup and chutney and of course accompanied with hot tea...
