veg pakoras..

Recipe..
Ingredients..

  • Carrots,green beans and potatoes cut into 2 inch long pieces 1 cup
  • Besan/chickpea flour 3/4 cup
  • Corn starch 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped onions 1
  • Chopped green chilly 1
  • Chopped cilantro 2-3 tablespoons
  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tspoon
  • Garam masala 1/4 tspoon
  • Baking soda 1/4 tspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Procedure...
  • Take a bowl and add in all the ingredients except last one into it
  • Mix up everything well,and add enough water(3-5 tablespoons approximately) to get thick consistency required for pakoras
  • Heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • As oil becomes hot,drop in pakora mix little at a time ,and fry both sides until golden brown, to get crispy pakoras
  • Serve hot with ketchup and chutney and of course accompanied with hot tea...
