rava laddoos

Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Rava/semolina/suji 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Golden/black raisins 8-10
  • Cashews 8-10
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Pistachios for garnishing laddoos
Procedure...
  • Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add ghee into it
  • Once the ghee becomes hot add in cashews and roast until golden brown
  • Now add raisins and as they puff up ,switch off the flame
  • Meanwhile heat up another nonstick pan on medium flame and add rava into it
  • Roast it until it leaves nice aroma,and gets golden in color
  • At this stage add sugar and mix until the sugar dissolves
  • add milk and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame until all the moisture gets evaporated
  • Finally add the fried cashews and raisins along with the ghee and switch off the flame
  • Mix everything well together and as it cools a little bit,form laddoos with ur hands of desired size
  • Garnish them with pistachios and Rava laddoos are ready to be served!!!!
Note..
  • In this recipe,u can use water instead of milk to increase the self life of laddoos,but milk gives better taste and softness
