- Urad dal 100 grams (soaked for at least 4-5 hours or the whole night)
- Finely Chopped onion 1
- Chopped green chillys 2
- Chopped ginger 1 small piece
- Cracked pepper corns 1 tspoon
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Procedure...
- Initially grind the soaked urad dal into a smooth thick paste (add 1-2 tspoons of water only if necessary ,grinding urad dal without water is the best option)
- After that add onions,green chillys,ginger, pepper corns and salt to taste
- Mix well and heat up oil in a pan for frying
- Apply water on ur palms and take little of the mix and give shape to vada with a hole in center and dip it into the hot oil
- Flip and cook until both sides get golden color
- Serve hot with coconut chutney....!!!!yummm!!!!!!!!
