beef chilly roast (5 key ingredients)

  • Beef pieces 1/2 kg
  • Garlic cloves 7-8 
  • Fennel seeds 2 tspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1 tspoon
  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Chilly flakes 2-3 tablespoons
  • Coconot oil 3 tablespoons (any refined oil could also be used)
  • Curry leaves 2-3 sprigs
  • Salt to taste
Procedure..
  • Initially grind together garlic cloves and fennel seeds
  • Now take the cleaned beef pieces in a pressure cooker and add the previously ground mix,chilly flakes,turmeric powder, vinegar and salt to taste
  • Mix well together
  • For better results keep the marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Now add little bit of water enough to cook the beef
  • Pressure cook until beef is 90% cooked (almost 5-6 whistles will do)
  • Now dry up the remaining water(if any) by further cooking without closing the lid 
  • Take a non stick pan,heat on medium flame and add oil into it
  • Add curry leaves and cooked beef
  • Stir fry it,until beef gets nicely roasted ,this would take approximately 10-15 minutes
  • Spicy beef roast is ready...
