Ingredients...
- Beetroot chopped 1
- Oil 2 tablespoons
- Chopped onion 1
- Chopped green chilly 1
- Chopped ginger 2 tspoons
- Yogurt 2-3 tablespoons
- Chopped cilantro 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Procedure...
- Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
- When oil becomes hot add in onion ,green chilly and ginger
- Saute for a minute and add beetroot
- Mix it well ,add some (almost 1/2 cup)water to it and salt to taste
- Cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes or until beetroot s cooked well
- Now open the lid and saute till the water s evaporated completely
- Add chopped cilantro and mix well
- Switch off the flame and wait for 5-10 minutes and then add in yogurt and mix well
- Check for seasoning and serve with plain rice
