beetroot pachdi....










Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Beetroot chopped 1
  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped green chilly 1
  • Chopped ginger 2 tspoons
  • Yogurt 2-3 tablespoons
  • Chopped cilantro 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
Procedure...
  • Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • When oil becomes hot add in onion ,green chilly and ginger

  • Saute for a minute and add beetroot

  • Mix it well ,add some (almost 1/2 cup)water to it and salt to taste 

  • Cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes or until beetroot s cooked well
  • Now open the lid and saute till the water s evaporated completely

  • Add chopped cilantro and mix well
  • Switch off the flame and wait for 5-10 minutes and then add in yogurt and mix well
  • Check for seasoning and serve with plain rice
