curd rice...

Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Over cooked rice 1 cup
  • Whisked yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Dry whole red chilly 2
  • Chana dal 1 1/2tablespoon
  • Urad dal 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Broken cashew 1 1/2tablespoon
  • Curry leaves 2 sprigs 
  • Salt to taste
Procedure...
  • Initially add rice and yogurt into a bowl,season it with salt and mix it well by mashing some of the rice
  • For tadka,heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • As oil becomes hot add mustard seeds
  • As it crackles,add dry red chillys and chana dal
  • Saute until channa dal turns golden brown and then add urad dal and cashews
  • Saute until they too turn golden brown,and finally add curry leaves and switch off the flame
  • Add this tadka to the previously prepared rice mix
  • Mix everything together and serve with pickle,raita and papad!!!!!
