tomato rotis..

Recipe..
Ingredients...

  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Dry whole red chillys 1-2
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for kneading
Procedure..
  • Initially heat up a pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • As oil becomes hot add in dry ted chillys 
  • saute them for a while and add tomatoes
  • Season it with salt and cook until the tomatoes turn really soft,tender and mushy(add water for cooking tomatoes if required)

  • After the tomatoes are done,switch off the flame and wait until the mix cools down a bit
  • Nextly empty the prepared mix into the blender ,and grind it into a smooth paste
  • Now take a mixing bowl, add flour into it along with the ground tomato mix

  • Knead it into a smooth dough
  • Allow the dough to rest for at least 20-25 minutes
  • Knead it again and make small balls from it,roll it into round rotis,and cook on a hot tawa as similar to normal rotis




  • Serve them hot with curry and raita!!!!
