yogurt chickpeas salad...

Recipe...
Ingredients...

  • Boiled and cooked chickpeas 1 cup
  • Yogurt 3 tablespoons
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Finely chopped green chilly 1/2
  • Lemon juice 2 tspoons
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • Chopped cilantro 2 tablespoons (optional)
For tampering
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tspoon
  • Red chilly flakes 1/4 tspoon
Procedure...
  • Initially in a bowl add in all ingredients 
  • Now for tampering, heat up a small pan on medium flame and add oil into it
  • Once oil becomes hot add in mustard seeds, and as it crackles add cumin seeds and chilly flakes

  • Switch off the flame and after a while add it to the salad mix and incorporate them all together using a spatula or spoon

  • Check for seasoning and serve at room temperature
